Container planning
Container selection balances cubic volume, cargo weight, pallet footprint, and destination rules. These are typical planning values only; the container CSC plate and carrier equipment sheet govern the final booking.

Compact & weight-efficient
A practical choice for dense, heavy products or a first consolidated shipment.
More floor space
Useful when carton volume is the constraint and the cargo is not exceptionally dense.
Extra vertical space
Adds roughly 30 cm of internal height for tall cartons and higher pallet stacks.
Pallet data guide
A pallet footprint affects carton count, aisle clearance, forklift access, and container utilization. Confirm height, overhang, and the receiving warehouse’s racking limits before loading.
| Pallet format | Size | Weight / load | Best fit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Euro / EPAL 1 | 1,200 × 800 × 144 mm | Approx. 25 kg Safe working load around 1,500 kg | The standard choice for European warehouses and many parcel networks. |
| Industrial / export | 1,200 × 1,000 mm | Varies by material and build Confirm dynamic and racking ratings | A versatile footprint for international freight and larger cartons. |
| North America GMA | 48 × 40 in / 1,219 × 1,016 mm | Varies by construction Confirm with the pallet supplier | The common U.S. and Canadian grocery and general-distribution footprint. |
| Asia / square format | 1,100 × 1,100 mm | Varies by material and build Confirm dynamic and racking ratings | Common in Asian supply chains where square loading patterns are preferred. |
| Australia standard | 1,165 × 1,165 mm | Varies by material and build Confirm with the destination warehouse | Designed around Australian transport, storage, and handling systems. |
Use the packed carton, not the product, and leave room for labels, corner protection, and safe handling.
Check stacking strength, center of gravity, stretch wrap, and whether the pallet can be handled from two or four sides.
Wood packaging moving internationally may need ISPM 15 treatment and marking. Confirm destination requirements before packing.
Route Choice
Fast launch replenishment and urgent samples.
Bulk inventory with lower unit freight cost.
