A pallet footprint affects carton count, aisle clearance, forklift access, and how efficiently a container can be loaded. Always confirm height, overhang, and the receiving warehouse’s racking limits.

Measure the carton
Use the packed carton, not the product, and leave room for labels, corner protection, and safe handling.
Protect the load
Check stacking strength, center of gravity, stretch wrap, and whether the pallet can be handled from two or four sides.
Check export rules
Wood packaging moving internationally may need ISPM 15 treatment and marking. Confirm the destination requirements before packing.
